A special event is coming to Greenville, June 7 thru 9. In conjunction with the 15th annual Lemonade Days, Firebirds Wood Fired Grill restaurant is sponsoring a lemonade stand to raise money to help fight childhood cancer. You can enjoy a refreshing glass (or three) of lemonade in front of the restaurant. The money you give will go towards a very worthy cause.
Firebirds has been a great supporter of Alex’s Lemonade Stand Foundation (ALSF) for many years. All year-round, $1.25 is donated to ALSF for every glass of Fresh Squeezed Lemonade purchased at Firebirds. During the Lemonade Days event, all proceeds from the lemonade sales, both from the lemonade stand and inside the restaurant are donated. You can also choose to “round up for cancer” on your bill or make additional donations. The goal is to reach over $100,000; a target that was achieved during last year’s event!

ALSF was born when four-year old cancer patient Alexandra Scott decided to have a lemonade stand. Each year she set up a lemonade stand to benefit her local hospital and research for childhood cancer. When she passed away, at the age of eight, Alex’s inspiration had spread worldwide.
Lemonade Days was born!

Growing up, the dreaded disease slithered its’ way into my world more than once. First, it took the life of my older brother when he was around the same age as little Alex. Then, my best friend lost his battle with leukemia when we were thirteen years old.
Thank you Firebirds, from the bottom of my heart, for being a huge supporter of such an important cause.
I love lemonade, especially when it’s one-hundred-thirty-thousand degrees outside, and now I LOVE Firebirds.
