Located on the Isle of Palms Connector, this Hampton Inn and Suites sits right in the middle of a shopping center.
Can you believe it? Sunning by day and shopping by night. It just doesn’t get any better! Just kidding, it can. Hampton Inn & Suites is surrounded by every restaurant you can think of. You may not have to move your car to find that dish you’re craving.
When I first walked through the door, I felt like I had walked into someone’s living room. The decor is warm, cozy and inviting. In fact, we worked in the lobby for about an hour before going to our room. Air conditioning and (complementary) ice water, for the win!
My favorite amenity offered is a full breakfast. (Right off the bat, I knew we would have a beautiful relationship. My love for waffles runs deep.) If you’re in town on business and have an early meeting, you can eat as early as six a.m. BUT, if you happen to be on vacation and don’t set an alarm, breakfast is served until ten a.m. every morning. Again, all signs this hotel loves me. Setting an alarm when out of town (or anytime, actually) can be very traumatic.
Free parking and wi-fi? Check. It can be very frustrating to pay for a room only to have a parking fee (per night) added to your bill. You don’t have to worry about that at Hampton Inn and Suites. Thanks, guys!
There are many reasons to stay in Charleston. The most important being the beach. You can dip your toes in the water (my personal favorite) or watch the sunset over the horizon (also my favorite). Hampton Inn is conveniently located three short miles from the beach. *This is the spot where I put in a plug for Isle of Palms County Park – it literally has everything your family needs for a fun day in the sun.*
Unfortunately, we didn’t have time to take advantage of the pool. I guess this means we’ll have to head back soon! The kids will love it.
Our room had a sitting area with a couch, chair and television, as well as a full kitchen. The perfect space for heating up leftovers or enjoying a cup of coffee in your pjs before dressing for a full breakfast.
The bed was super comfy. In addition to breakfast and free parking, sleeping in hotel beds is a love language of mine. Our king bed was pretty perfect. *Not pictured: full bath, closet and separate sink area.*
I could sit here and write another three hundred words describing everything offered at this hotel. OR, I can just tell you to be sure and check out their website when planning your next trip to the low country.
We enjoyed every moment of our stay and hope this is the beginning of a beautiful friendship!
