Recently, I published another poll on Instagram asking if you’d like to read more about my personal adventures through divorce, dating, single-mom-dom, etc.
Due to the resounding YES, here we are. I’m diving in blind, guys. I’ve not planned out any content. I might. Or, I might just go with the flow of my feelings. They’re equally as dangerous.
I’ve dated. Not a lot, but some. And there’s a reason I’ve not dated a lot. There may be “plenty of fish in the sea,” but the fish are crazy. Weird, desperate and wildly inappropriate. (Did I mention inappropriate?)
I’ve tried hard not to write about this topic, but I think it’s time. It’s a public service, really. If you’re a guy, pay close attention to my words. Write them down. Tattoo them on your arm. You’ll thank me later.
I’ll write posts here and on my Instagram Stories – if you’re not already, follow along at @acbeam.
Okay, enough of that. We had a really nice weekend…
We went to the Greenville Christmas parade Saturday night.
Other than not being prepared for the cold, it was super fun. This was our first time attending in a couple of years – mostly due to weather – and I’m so glad we went.
This week will be a busy one. I’m working in Charleston thru Tuesday evening and then we have our Christmas program at church. Preston and I are both involved. I’ll try to snap a few photos to share – he’s really cute!
Happy Monday!
