It finally stopped raining long enough for us to enjoy the sunshine in the city. (This post is a few weeks old!)
Jackson was pretty amazed (as are the rest of us) with the falls.
We spend so much time on the road in search of adventure, it’s easy to overlook the wonderful experiences our very own city has to offer.
Falls Park is beautiful and the perfect place to explore with kids (and adults) of all ages. We especially love the swings strategically placed along the river.
One place I’ve always admired in passing is Mary’s at Falls Cottage.
Mom and I visited on a day without the kids. The Cottage did not disappoint and the prices were surprising – in a GOOD way!
I had the salmon spinach wrap with a side salad. Mom ordered sweet potato pancakes. Yum! Yum! Yum!
We’ll definitely go back. Soon.
Oh, by the way, Southern Living recently named Greenville one of the South’s “Cities on the Rise!” Congrats #yeahthatgreenville!
It’s been a crazy busy week around here, but we made it to Friday eve!
