Photo Dump + Life Update

Good news! I finally got my WordPress app downloaded to my new phone. What an act of Congress.

I’m being a little (okay, a lot) dramatic, but still. I have no idea why it was the only app I couldn’t get to transfer. It’s my most important app. Oh well. We’re good to go.

Today I thought I would dump photos and give a brief ish life update.

Photos first…

CJ + JP had a swim day. She’s the best at getting him out of his funky moods. We will forever be thankful for her friendship. #RideorDie
The first picture I took with my phone camera + Preston happy to pose on his way into the pool!
Jackson is the cutest. That is all.
The BBQ Brisket Tacos from Mac’s Speed Shop deserve a slot in the post. When you go, order them. You will not be sorry.
Andrew is back with us one day a week. JP’s world is complete.
Jackson would rather watch bugs crawl around the front yard than eat or drink. He’s obsessed with being outside in general.
We still have weekly breakfast dates at Stax Original + Preston still only loves Papa. The rest of us have come to grips with it and are fine. This photo was not staged, by the way. It’s literally how he looks at him. 🙄
For those of you wondering if I’m dating, I’m very much in a relationship with Barberitos. They make me happy. #SorryNotSorry

I could go on and on, but I won’t.

There’s not been a lot of drama which is a plus when you live in our house. (Most) everything has been running fairly smooth. Preston is about to wrap up travel baseball this weekend with a final tournament. JP’s anxiety seems to be sorting itself out. He’s come a long way in just a few weeks. In fact, the CBD company we use is writing a story about us. I’m interviewing with them on Friday. I’ll share the link when it’s published!

Speaking of anxiety… parenting JP thru his struggles has made me an anxious mess. I can’t remember a time in my life when I’ve experienced so much anxiety – even through my separation/divorce. That’s one of the many reasons I’m getting excited about the newsletter. It will be the perfect (more private) place to park my thoughts and feelings. I’m still researching and watching training videos. You’ll be the first to know when I’m ready to launch.

Jack, Faye, and Laurie are all good. Everyone is enjoying the summer. Nanny is in her happy place at the beach as we speak. I don’t expect to hear from her until she rolls in later this week. If she rolls in later this week.

I’ll stop here.

Jackson is with his mom for a couple of days, so I’m catching up on “office” work. I hope all of you are having a good Monday!
