It’s been a busy week. I am ready for the rain to go away. Although it does make for great October content! 👻 Yesterday we took the kids to Crybaby Bridge in Anderson, SC. Have you been?

I’m not gonna tell ya about it now. I’m working on a whole post. The history of the bridge is just as fascinating as the hauntings!

LIFE UPDATE

Things have been good on the home front. No drama. The day to day dealings with the kids keeps us busy + Jackson keeps us on our toes.

School is going well. Preston is pretty far ahead in most subjects, according to our district’s website. I’m thrilled, because now I don’t have to feel guilty for taking them on so many adventures during the week. (Not that I feel guilty).

Everyone is healthy. I thank God every single day, and I’m careful not to take it for granted. He’s been so good to us. I’m doing my part. We take lots of vitamins + drink lots of water and I’m no longer eating processed foods. That’s been an eye opening venture (that I won’t go into). 😳

JP’s therapy is going well. He’s happy and learning to work thru his emotions. I don’t want to brag (too much) but he’s such a good kid. I say that because I remember a time when I almost couldn’t stand to be around him. His mouth was hateful + his attitude was poor. (I know what you’re thinking, Christi!) I’m thankful to be out of that season. Looking back, I’m tempted to blame it on the medicines he was taking. Puberty hasn’t ended, so all the teenage hormones/emotions are there. He’s just not on the drugs. 🤔 (Yay CBD + Extract Labs!)

GHOSTLY ADVENTURES

Last week, I talked about a few of my favorite haunted places around the upstate. The next two weeks, I’m sharing stories from the low country. We’re leaving today and will be working with Bulldog Tours in Charleston on Friday.

Bring on the ghosts + paranormal activities. The following weekend we’re working with the phenomenal team of ghostly guides in Greer, SC. If you’re as obsessed with the holiday as much as I am, check out their site ~ Preston will be my assistant for this job. More on that soon!
