Never traveled Route66, but I-26 takes me to the capital city! The short distance to Columbia is an easy day trip from Greenville. However, I always include at least one night in my home away from home.

Nestled in the hub of campus, the Graduate Columbia is the perfect spot for a sleepover in Gamecock Country. No, you do not have to be a Gamecock fan to stay here ~ we welcome our Clemson family too! 🧡💜🙃

The library provides the ideal atmosphere to relax + read. I feel smarter just sitting here.
The boutique style spot is cozy and makes me feel at home. Actually it’s a lot nicer than my home, so it’s more of an oasis. If you miss grandma’s house, you’ll love the front porch vibe. It’s my favorite place to work.

Heads up future Gamecocks: 2022 Family Weekend is September 23-24. Visit HERE to book your stay. All the cool kids are doing it!
We rarely head home without dropping in Cantina76 to get my taco fix.

The service in this college town is second to none. Thank you to manager, Brandi, for taking such good care of us. Our waiter, Broc (without k), was very helpful. We learned that UofSC is among the few colleges to offer out of state scholarships. Broc (without a k) is a sophomore from Toledo, Ohio. Basically, we should have invited him to sit and eat with us. He was that friendly. I’m sure it had nothing to do with the fact that he knew we were writing up a review. I could tell he just thought we were cool. Maybe next time, Broc (without a k).
