Pawleys Island|A Dream

We’re home. I don’t even know where to begin. Last week was everything I’ve needed for a very long time. I don’t have many photos to share. I kept my phone on me because JP wasn’t there, but I barely touched it. In the evenings, I opened my laptop to watch Netflix, but that’s it. No work. No writing. Nothing. And it was glorious.

I’m going to drop all of my photos here…

When we got there, Preston could not wait to get to the water.
Sunsets are breathtaking on the island. Pink/purple over the ocean, orange over the backwater.
New scuba gear! 🤙 (The goggles were swept away in the tide his last night there 😭) Fun while it lasted!
We only ate out one time. Mostly, we made picnic meals for the porch + dock. Praise the Lord for salads in a bag!
A few baby shrimp, one crab, but LOTS of oyster shells!
Jackson lives his best life on the beach just like Waggy.
I wish I could take credit for this, but nanny found a Pawleys shell 😭

Thursday night, the kids – and the big boy kids 😆 – decided they wanted to go for a sunset swim…

I hope your week is off to a good start!
