We took our little friend, Henry, hiking for the first time a few weeks ago. The Lake Placid Loop at Paris Mountain State Park was perfect.

JP and Preston were hoping to get photos in the fog. Of course, it cleared up as soon as we got there.

Anyone else sick of gloomy days? I don’t want to pray for the rain to go away because we must need it. But GAH. I’m completely OVER IT!

JP walked into the kitchen the other day and asked me what was wrong. I told him I felt blah. He said, “seasonal depression is a real thing, mom.” 😆

I wouldn’t use the word depressed, but I definitely need the sun to show up and stick around a while!
