The best way to catch you guys up is through photos.

We came home from Camp Joy to Dolly. She’s Allyson’s sweet dog. A few of us tag-teamed her care while their family was on a roadtrip to Montana and back. My plan was to use the time out of our (chaotic) house to relax and recharge. Rose had other plans… we ended up in the hospital again with her. Rose, if you’re reading this, there are other ways we can spend time together! 😉

Thankfully, she’s back home and doing better.

She got out of the hospital just in time for Laurie and I to take Preston and a couple of his friends on our annual beach trip. I completely disassociated from everything back home and for seven days pretended that life was perfect.

And while we were there, it was.

The boys’ “aura” (as they call it) was affected by the fact that none of them could drive. Preston’s already counting down the days till next year when he has his driver’s license.

Jackson made it back to South Carolina and my nannying duties are in full effect. I think I mentioned that I have a new little friend now too. I won’t be sharing about him publicly, but just know that he’s ADORABLE and perfect and I’m already in love with him! Jackson will go to first grade in the fall (aka August…so stinkin early) so it’ll just be me and the NKOTB for the next year. After that, I’ll be homeschooling Jackson too.

In other words, fun times ahead!

All of us went to see Toy Story 5. All of us loved it. I’ll be sharing a review in my newsletter next week. Spoiler Alert: I was more impressed with the new seats at the Woodruff Rd theater. Have you see them?

The only other BIG piece of news is that Papa FINALLY quit work. I guess that can double as a prayer request…
