Spending the day on the lake was the perfect way to wrap up our summer vacation!

When I tell you it’s HOT here in the Carolinas, I mean it’s HOT!  As you can tell by my posts, we’ve spent next to NO time in town this summer. It’s been unbearable. Basically, unless we are by the water, we’ve been inside.

We spent Saturday at the lake with our friends on their boat. JP and Preston had so much fun! And I brought them home dead-to-the-world tired, so it was a WIN for everyone!

I hope you guys had a great weekend! Tomorrow the kids go back to school and they’re LESS than excited about it. We met their teachers Friday and I feel like it’s going to be a good year for both of them.  Fingers crossed. 

TODAY is the big day… where are you viewing the Eclipse?!? Our roads are packed, here in Greenville, so we’ve made no plans to get out. I can’t wait to see it!
