Preston’s spring ball has officially begun. Our Saturday morning was spent at the field.
JP cares very little about baseball, but he was very thankful to see the Pink Mama’s Ice Cream truck roll up!
Our St. Patty’s Day shenanigans consisted of baseball, lunch and a pretty long nap.
Speaking of lunch, have you guys been to the Northgate Soda Shop on N. Main in downtown Greenville? We ate lunch there after the game and I felt a little like I was on the set of a really old television show.
The entire shop is filled with antique items and the walls are lined with old pictures of Greenville.
Homemade Pimento Cheese on fries. It might not be GOOD for you, but it was oh so good.
I had the homemade chicken salad, toasted.
Preston loved the chicken fingers. My only regret is that we didn’t have time to stick around for dessert – I definitely need to try one of their milkshakes. Or a Sundae. Or maybe both?!
I hope you guys had a great weekend. It’s rainy outside, (and a Monday), which made it really difficult to get out of bed this morning. The kids cooperated, so thankfully our morning ran pretty smoothly.
Cheers to a productive day!
