IMG_6918I’ve been around the world a tiny bit and I feel like I’ve seen a lot. Dry Falls in North Carolina is at the TOP of my list of places that take my breath away. How have I lived less than two hours away my whole life and just now visited?! We had the most amazing day. With all the rain we’ve had, the waterfall was raging. The bridge (as you can see) runs all the way behind the falls, allowing you to walk behind it and it’s completely safe for kids.

Speaking of kids… we spent most of yesterday on the road with the boys. Someone please explain to me how our parents survived children in the car with no electronics. JP, Andrew and Preston each had a device AND we had a movie playing AND I still wanted to kill them. Mom, Dad, I love you and I’m sorry for, what I’m sure, was a very traumatic time on the road for you. Brings new meaning to the song, “Jesus, take the wheel!”

I’m completely overwhelmed by the feedback I’ve received regarding my last post. I want to thank all of you for your messages, emails and comments. I am looking forward to sharing more in depth with you guys on a regular basis.

Happy Friday!
