When the opportunity popped up for us to visit the Cantina76 in Mt. Pleasant, I jumped on it. I was really ready to get out of the house.
Let’s start with the food, since it is Restaurant Week, and then we’ll talk about the location.
I don’t need to tell you that we started off with salsa, queso and guacamole. That’s a given. If you don’t begin with this trio, have you even been to Cantina?
I ordered the Chimichanga and Lynne got the beloved Peruvian Shrimp tacos. (I had to sit on my hands NOT to get those). Both entrees were wonderful, but it was the BBQ Quesadillas I would write home about.
The only issue was, the staff decorated the plate so beautifully, I was hesitant to dive in. Don’t worry though, my reservation lasted long enough for me to take the photos and then I was over it.
After the first bite, I was immediately sorry I didn’t order the BBQ quesadillas for myself. No offense to my dish!
You simply cannot beat the RW deal at Cantina. 3 courses for $15 is insane. Thank you to the staff for taking such good care of us!
We loved the atmosphere at the Mt. Pleasant location. It’s housed in a building that’s been several other businesses. We’re pretty sure this one will stick! Last week, they almost had a wait! If you visit, you’ll see why.
They proudly display their “Best of Mt. Pleasant” sticker on the door.
The Restaurant Week menu is available through Sunday, so you’ve got plenty of time to drop in!
