I’ll be writing up a full review of Croft State Park for a Greenville site soon, so stay tuned for that. Today, I just wanted to share a few of my favorite photos from the visit.
I’m pretty sure it was twenty degrees below zero Wednesday wI had on three layers of clothes (as did JP) and it was not enough. Thankfully, the wind wasn’t blowing.
Lake Craig was our favorite spot of the day (well, mine was the cemetery but we’ll get to that shortly).
It’s obvious why I keep seeing pictures on social media of people kayaking on this lake. The views have Instagram written all over them!
I loved how they had a guide for the hiking trails. If you’re directionally challenged like me, this comes in handy.
I put mom in charge of stamping our book. At the end of your State Park journey, you turn in your book full of stamps and receive a prize to go along with your Ultimate Outsider status!
It looked more like fall than winter and I was 100% okay with that.
I was happy with how this photo turned out, but getting it was quite the ordeal…
Other than the freezing temperatures, the day was perfect.
You guys remember my slight obsession with graveyards. This one was pretty amazing. The graves date back to the 1700’s and the Revolutionary War.
I was fascinated by these worn flags.
Once we got back to Greenville, JP asked to eat at Sticky Fingers downtown on Main – his #1 favorite spot.
I hope you guys have had a great week. Let’s celebrate because it’s finally Friday! By the time you read this, I will be on the road. I’m working out of town this weekend. Be sure to follow along with us over on Instagram – @acbeam.
HAPPY WEEKEND!
