This restaurant is certainly appropriately located since their entrees are fit for a King. Yes Virginia, your food is fine!
Serving up delicious appetizers, mouthwatering main dishes and delectable desserts, Virginia’s always pleases their guests. Savory southern favorites like shrimp & grits and Perloo highlight the menu.
(Writing this is making my mouth water all over again. This was my personal dish and I cannot wait to have it again!)
The desserts were write-home worthy. I could have eaten ten pounds of the banana pudding, but I didn’t want to straddle the glutenous fence (in public, anyway), so I was good and exercised total restraint.
Hey Virginia’s, if you’re reading this, could you please package up one of these pecan pies and ship it to my dad? He wasn’t with us and it’s his favorite dessert so he’s still not speaking to me!
The atmosphere, including a full bar, adds to an ideal dining experience. Our waiter, Thomas, was the perfect example of a charming gentleman. He took such good care of us while delivering his own style of southern hospitality. He remembered us from when we visited last year, which made us feel so special. Hey Thomas!
Next time you find yourself in downtown Charleston, this is a must stop. In fact, we think it’s worth a drive – all the way from Greenville!
