Road trips are food for the adventurous soul. My friend, Pam, and I flew to Indianapolis to spend time with Bailey and attend the Colts game. I’ll share a full post about my first NFL game later!

Saturday we spent the day in Chicago.

We may or may not have totally geeked out over the Home Alone house! The neighborhood was so cute. I’m sure I don’t have to tell you we weren’t the only ones there.

I can’t imagine being the owners of this property – revolving door of guests snapping photos and selfies. FYI, they drive a Honda CRV. That means they’re pretty down to earth, right?!

It would be a sin to leave Chicago without having one of their famous deep dish pizzas. Around the corner from the McAllister’s house was a cozy little joint called Big Tomato Pizzeria. It was YUMMY!

Due to heavy (really heavy) traffic, hanging around the Home Alone town and eating deep dish pizza was about all we had time for. There were several events and shows taking place in downtown Chicago – parking was going to cost around $50-100. That was a hard NO!
