Matthew 6:25-27

After sitting empty for over a year, we finally have tenants!

We watched these little guys all day. The kids (and adults) got such a kick out of it! Actually, it was therapeutic – for both me and JP.

The timing was not a coincidence. I’ve been full of anxiety for several weeks. I try really hard to stay positive, but watching JP struggle messes with my head and heart.

God used these birds to remind me that he doesn’t want me to worry.

“That’s why I tell you not to worry about every day life – whether you have enough food or drink, or enough clothes to wear. Isn’t life more than food, and your body more than clothing? Look at the birds. They don’t plant or harvest or store food in barns, for your Heavenly Father feeds them. And aren’t you far more valuable to Him than they are? Can all your worries add a single moment to your life?” ~Matthew 6:25-27

I’m thankful for friends who use their talents and share beautiful gifts with our family.

We’re heading out of town tomorrow for the day. I need a breather – to clear my head and realign my perspective.

The ocean is calling…
